The Museum Friedland tells migration stories at a unique location. As an active initial reception centre, the border transit camp is still a place of diverse migrations today.
We helped the museum to find and implement a new and customised corporate design due to constantly changing requirements. The new key visual conveys the core themes while remaining independent of images and text.

Over the years, my enthusiasm for posters has resulted in a large archive full of self-designed posters. The medium is an enormous playground for me, but one that remains within the rules of the supreme discipline of posters. I use screen printing or digital printing for the realisation. The development and production can be digital or completely analogue. ♥

The Kottbusser Font is a marked serif antiqua with humanistic characteristics. Because of its balance between function and individuated character, it keeps its legibility at running texts and small font sizes. The appearance of the Kottbusser Font is based on the characteristic shapes of the architecture around the Kottbusser Tor in Berlin.
The ESCANCARAR TYPE belongs to the Pixacao fonts. This style was created and tagged by the kids from the streets of Sao Paulo. By tagging this font in between the cramped skyscrapers, the kids express their sense of freedom, which they refuse to be taken away from.
